
Strength, Stretch, Surrender is designed to work your body, calm your mind and balance your energy. In this 60-minute class, you will work all major muscle groups using body weight or basic resistance equipment, strengthen and lengthen with mat Pilates and yoga, and destress the body and mind with breathwork and meditation.
You will get a holistic mind-body-energy workout broken down like this:
In the first 20 minutes, we will combine cardio and strength exercises to keep your heart rate up and work all major muscle groups.
Next, we'll spend 10 minutes working on core strength and pelvic floor function with Mat Pilates exercises.
We'll stretch, move energy and cool down with yoga, meditation and breathwork for the second half of class.
Appropriate for All Levels of individuals with no current joint or muscle injury. Must be able to get up and down from the floor with relative ease.
Note:
Mats, blocks, straps and blankets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own
Please bring a set of light weights (3-8lb) if you have them
