ABOUT ME


Welcome. My name is Jenny. Attuned Body Wellness and Fitness is a space I created to give you the gift of finding balance and connection in all aspects of your being. Since I started working with clients in 2015, my fitness and wellness journey has evolved both personally and professionally. However, I started with one goal, and I continue to let that be the heart of what I offer. I was seeing so many people coming to fitness because they believed they needed to be "fixed". My goal is to help transform this mindset, to get you to maintain a wellness routine because you love yourself and not because you believe you are broken.

My training and coaching philosophy includes listening and guiding with kindness and compassion, while teaching and reminding you that you control your own wellness and fitness.  I provide the tools, but you have the power to use them to reach your highest potential. 

For over a decade, I've gained an array of experience working with a variety of clients in many different modalities. I take every opportunity I can to learn new methods and techniques to better serve you in a more holistic way.

I've found that sometimes even when you have a specific plan, life presents a new injury, ache, pain, attitude or emotion that doesn't align with the plan. For that reason, I've decided to train and certify in multiple modalities in order to be prepared to meet whatever you're experiencing each day in mind, body and energy.

I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. When I'm not working with clients, I'm usually enrolled in some form of continuing education course, and you can most likely find me with my face buried in a book. I'll devour any genre, but I have a particular love for historical fiction and poetry.

I'm married and have three daughters. We like to spend time traveling, hiking and going to concerts. In addition to practicing yoga and reiki, I stay balanced by gardening, spending time in nature, cooking healthy meals, reading and writing.

My trainings and certifications include: Certified Personal Trainer (ACE), 500 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher), Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor, Certified Meditation Teacher (Vipassana), Reiki Master (Usui Holy Fire III, World Peace), Active Isolated Stretching, B.A. in English and Women's Studies. I also hold a certificate in Ayurvedic Nutrition.

Having the knowledge and experience to blend these tools and techniques ensures I am always prepared and ready to meet you where you're at, giving attention to the physical, energetic, mental/emotional, intellectual and spiritual bodies that connect to remind you that you are infinite, eternal and whole.
